The story
Svenja closed the locker and hung the dark uniform jacket on the hook. The undershirt lay crumpled on the bench, the trousers with belt and holster stayed on. Cool air brushed her skin, still faintly glistening after the shift. Somewhere a fluorescent tube crackled. She leaned her back against the metal wall, looked straight ahead, and took one deep breath. For a few minutes the corridor belonged only to her and to whoever was about to arrive. No radio, no call, just the quiet click of a camera in her thoughts.
The setting
The station's locker corridor lies still. Rows of gray lockers, hard shadows, even ceiling light. Nothing distracting, just metal, tiles, and the warmth of her skin in between.

The Police Officer
Svenja is 25, a patrol officer in a northern German city, down-to-earth and unfazed. After long shifts she changes in the cool locker room, often as one of the last. Duty shapes her everyday life, including shifts, reports, the smell of metal and disinfectant. The shoot happens because after work she consciously wants something of her own, no show, just honest in front of the camera. She likes control and clear instructions, but opens up to closeness when the tone is right.
